Welcome to my little corner of the web. I’m a  photographer based in East Kent.

 

From an early age I’ve enjoyed photography. During my teenage years, however, my interest moved more towards films and TV; photography took a back seat.

 

In time I graduated with a degree in Film and TV Production, which enhanced and renewed my interest in the still image. I’m told my work has a cinematic feel to it, something, I assume, derived from watching many hours of films, from John Hughes and Quentin Tarantino, through to Jean-Luc Godard and Francois Truffaut. This comes across in my fascination with how light plays across a form, be it human, urban or natural, in the use of strong leading lines, composition and colour, or indeed, in their lack. 

 

 

I greatly enjoy taking the time to pick and consider my shots, find the better angles, and, where possible, play with the lighting,  in order to create an aesthetically pleasing, stylish image.

 

After many hours working with models, and photographing motorbikes, cars, landscapes and all manner of seemingly insignificant everyday objects, I find myself here, putting my work out for all to see.  

 

 

For me, photography is a passion, and one I’m always interested in exploring with new models.  I’ve developed a distinct style which produces unique, striking images. I hope you enjoy what you see here, and if you’d like to work with me sometime, please send me a message.
